We were invited by the Ministry of Higher Education to establish a branch campus for engineering within the EduCity development in Iskandar, Malaysia. Iskandar is the nation’s economic zone located in Johor, just minutes from Singapore. Our Malaysia Campus opened in October 2012 and offers premier undergraduate degrees in engineering. In 2016, our first group of Malaysia Campus students graduated with excellent results – they obtained 10 First Class and eight Upper Second Class MEng degrees.
Our campuses – five in Southampton, one in Winchester and one in Malaysia – are purpose-built learning environments with their own sense of identity and a shared community spirit.
More than just the perfect places to learn, they are warm and welcoming environments in which you can grow as a person – with an array of leisure, fitness and entertainment options alongside world-class teaching and research facilities. The University has had the privilege of educating international students from all over the world for over 50 years at our Southampton campus.
Choosing the right place to study is an important decision, with many factors to consider. Southampton is placed in the top 100 of global universities in the world, and 97th in the QS World University Rankings 2020. Join us, a founder member of the Russell Group of research-intensive UK universities.
The University of Southampton offers a unique opportunity for students to study a top engineering course in Malaysia.
