Location& Campuses

 Dubbed as the ‘city campus’, HELP College of Arts and Technology (HELP CAT) at Fraser Business Park is the latest addition to the HELP Group that is located at the heart of the thriving hub of Malaysia, the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Located at Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur, HELP University’s campus consists of 3 blocks which are:

  •   The main campus in Pusat Bandar Damansara (PBD)
  •   2nd one is Wisma HELP and
  •   3rd one KompleksPerdaganganDamansara (KPD), located along    Jalan Dungun with a free shuttle bus for the convenience of the  students.

The location is convenient for part-time students who are working as the campus is located just 10 to 15 minutes’ drive away from the heart of KL.


The strategic location in Damansara Heights provides many advantages such as easy access for residents from Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang and accessible to the many facilities such as shops, restaurants and cafes located in Bangsar. The Damansara campus also has access to recreational facilities such as a futsal, basketball and volleyball court and lodging as HELP Residence is just walking distance from the PBD campus.

HELP is also proud to be the first private institution to be recognised worldwide by the London School of Economics (LSE) to conduct the University of London Diploma in Economics.

Academic Faculties

Supporting our academic programmes is a whole network of state-of-the-art equipment, facilities, learning resources and electronic databases and science labs that exceed industrial norms and even enable our students to research and develop cutting-edge applications, e.g. in mobile communication, that enable them to win coveted prizes offered by industry leaders.

HELP's new campus in the vicinity of Kompleks Pejabat Damansara with its landscaped and environmentally friendly features will further increase and enhance HELP's facilities and capability to provide quality education. These additional facilities and features, coupled to the impetus provided by our upgraded university status, will enhance HELP's capability to reach greater heights of achievement and excellence.

HELP has extensive computing resources for its students. These include:

  • Hewlett Packard, Dell and Siemens computers, networked to a 128Kbps leased line, a 2Mbps leased line and a 1.5Mbps satellite linkup for Internet and interactive video learning and email.
  • 2 Enterprise Digital Alpha servers, which include peripherals and connectivity, representing a million-ringgit investment in our Education Management System. These servers are designed for wired and wireless network environments and run on a Windows operating system.
  • 10 computer laboratories (including 2 multimedia and internet labs) with approximately 400 computers to serve the student population in terms of curricular requirements, assignments and research.
  • 8 incubator laboratories to cater for project requirements of our IT students and for research and development.
  • State-of-the-art Power Macintosh G4 laboratory.
  • A web-based scheduling and communication system for students to have online access to subject enrolment, outstanding fees, results, timetables, message board and e-trade.

The HELP Residence is a purpose-built student residential facility. This twenty-one storey building comprises 432 rooms with a capacity to house 828 residents. The HELP Residence is divided into male and female sections. The male section is from level 2 to 10 and the female section is from level 11 to 19.

Features & Facilities

* Soft linen such as pillow and pillow case, bed sheet and blanket are not provided for student residents. These items can be purchased at the Residence Management Office.

Tenancy Terms

Minimum 6 months. A rebate of RM30 for each month’s stay will be given for stays of more than 6 months only for the HELP Residence.

International Arrivals

International students arriving for the first time will be allowed to check-in after office hours. A 7-days  advance notice of arrival date and time to the HELP Residence Management Office is required to facilitate a smooth check-in. Arrivals without prior notice may not be attended to.


To create convenience for parents to visit their children who are studying at HELP, HELP Residence has allocated rooms for parents to stay on a daily basis. The daily room rate applies. Please refer to the Rate Schedules above for details. Application for room could be made either by the parent or the child who is residing at the HELP Residence.

Sundays and Public Holidays Closed
